Apple Sauce Parfait

Stove-top granola:

¼ cup rolled oats

¼ cup chopped nuts

1 tablespoon oil or butter (coconut oil, olive oil, or plain vegetable oil are all great)

1 tablespoon local, raw honey

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon


Honey vanilla yogurt:

2 cups plain yogurt

1 tablespoon local, raw honey

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups applesauce*


First, make your stovetop granola. Place the rolled oats and nuts in a dry pan and toast over medium heat until just fragrant. While toasting, mix the remaining ingredients in a small bowl. Once the oats and nuts are toasted, pour them into the bowl with the honey mixture and stir to coat. Set aside.

Mix yogurt, honey and vanilla in a medium bowl until combined.

Assemble your parfait with alternating layers of yogurt, applesauce and granola. Assemble in a mason jar for an easy, on-the-go breakfast!
