Bartender Bonnie Siharath of Chinese Laundry in Providence created this martini, a classic autumn combination of pear and cinnamon, for Edible Rhody. Best when served with Rhody pears.
½ fresh pear from Pippin Orchards
½ stick of cinnamon
1 ounceWokka Saki vodka
1 ounce Grey Goose Pear vodka
1 ounce Asian pear nectar
¼ ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
Pear slice, for garnish
Gently muddle pear and cinnamon in a cocktail shaker.
Add ice, vodkas, pear nectar and lime juice. Shake well and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Add garnish.
Makes one drink.
